Matt has participated in the National Academies (Institute of Medicine) Forum on Medical and Public Health Preparedness for Catastrophic 事件, the Healthcare and Public Health Sector Coordinating Council, the Baltimore City Coalition on 应急准备, and the Region III Maryland Coalition on 应急准备. Matt is currently participating as a principal member on both the National Fire Protection Associations committees on Community Risk Assessments (NFPA 1300) and Standard on 连续性, 紧急, 和危机管理(NFPA 1660).
